GENERAL INFORMATION AND ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I am a photojournalist in my full time newspaper job and use the journalistic approach when photographing weddings. What does that mean? I've had brides describe my style as the "warm and fuzzy type of pictures". Basically, a photojournalist tries to document things as they happen, rather than spending the day posing pictures. The only time I will be telling you what to do or posing you, are during the formal shots. The rest of the day, I will just photograph your day as it happens.

The I will arrive at the time you designate, and then spend the rest of the day with you. Some brides wish to have photos as they get ready, some don't want those shots, its entirely up to you.

What can you expect to be photographed? I will shoot pictures as you get ready for your wedding day. These photos can be both posed as well as candids. Pictures as you arrive at the church, the ceremony, and following the ceremony, the formal shots of the wedding party. Then it's off to the reception. Photos as you arrive, and as you enter the reception, first dance, cutting the cake, and all the other traditional photos you want. Plus, tons of candids of you and your guests as everyone celebrates your wedding day. You can expect to receive anywhere from 250 to 600 pictures from the day.

How long will it take to get the formal pictures done? Generally, not more than 30 minutes, depending on the size of the bridal party.

What formal pictures do you take? I have a comprehensive list that we will go over to figure out which pictures you want.
How long does it take to get back the photos from the wedding? Generally, Generally, three weeks.
What do I get when the pictures come back? You will receive 4x6 prints that have all been edited in photoshop, color corrected if needed and cropped, in an archival album. You will also receive a CD with all the files from the wedding, or all the negatives if you want your wedding shot on film rather than digital. Other options are available, depending on the package you choose and these things will be discussed on an individual basis.
What does it cost? I have 3 packages available, if you want something not listed, let me know what you are looking for and I will let you know what it will cost. The packages run between $1200 and $1800. A $500 Non-refundable deposit is required to book your wedding date. The balance is due the week of the wedding. I accept checks, and also, payment can be made through PayPal for anyone wishing to pay by credit card.
